Throughout the year during school holidays we host ‘Have A Go’ archery shoots for the public behind Margam Castle. Feel free to come along and try your hand at archery. Check the Have A Go page or the Calendar to see when our next event is.  Try your hand at Archery for a £1 (3 Arrows or at-least until we get you hitting the target!) and enjoy a great day out in the beautiful grounds of Margam Park.

It’s great fun to try and we have a full range or equipment for both Adults and the kids.  As well as modern recurve bows you can also challenge your self and see how well you do with a traditional longbow.

Several of our experienced members will be on hand to teach you the basics of archery and answer questions. Generally we will have examples of medieval longbows, arrows and equipment on show too.

We will be hosting Have-A-Go shoots for the public thought the summer holidays, dates to be added later.

Just head up to Margam Castle and you will find us just behind the castle, we’ll be hard to miss…
